Congratulations to Gaston County for receiving the Fit Community Designation The Fitness and Nutrition Council (FNC) applied for the Health and Wellness Trust Fund Commission’s Fit Community Designation. The Gaston Community Healthcare Commission/FNC on behalf of Gaston County received the bronze level award which means is that Gaston County has demonstrated efforts to making healthy lifestyles more accessible in the community. Gaston County will receive recognition in statewide media and on the Fit Community web site. Thank you to all the agencies, businesses, and city/county employees who worked so hard on this project. Gaston County should be very proud of this achievement! |
